ONCOLOGY

Thanks to our generous community, we reached our $10 million goal. The new Oncology Centre is open.

Patients across the South Okanagan Similkameen now have access to enhanced cancer care at Pentiction Regional Hospital.

The new unit offers greater comfort, dignity, updated technology, increased nursing staff and a space designed to support healing for patients and their families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

“We are deeply grateful to every donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this possible. Every dollar you donated is helping open the doors on a state-of-the-art Oncology Centre, enhanced support services, and a welcoming environment for patients and their families.”

See What’s Next

With the Oncology Centre upgrade fully funded, our focus now turns to the next set of critical healthcare needs across our region.

We are currently raising funds for life-saving equipment that will make a real difference for patients of all ages, including:

  • An Endobronchial Ultrasound System (EBUS) bronchoscopy system for early lung cancer detection
  • Specialized neonatal equipment for fragile newborns
  • Robotic assisted technology to support precision in orthopedic surgeries
  • A da Vinci Surgical System, a robotic surgical system that assists surgeons in performing minimally invasive surgeries

These tools are vital. They mean earlier diagnoses, less invasive procedures, and better outcomes for patients right here at home.
